Aid4Mail 5 is a complete rewrite of the software. It offers a brand-new user-interface, conversion engine, and feature set. If you use the email filtering features in Aid4Mail Professional then Aid4Mail Investigator is the best match. Filtering capabilities have been significantly improved in version 5. Depending on your source format, you’ll also have access to pre-acquisition native filtering so Aid4Mail only downloads emails matching your search query.
If you use Aid4Mail Professional for email conversion, without filtering, then Aid4Mail Converter is the most cost-effective solution. However, you will miss out on the many new features in Aid4Mail Investigator and Aid4Mail Enterprise.

If you use the console in Aid4Mail Forensic or Aid4Mail Service, then Aid4Mail Enterprise is the appropriate edition. It includes 32 and 64-bit consoles, with a command-line interface (CLI), so Aid4Mail can match the bitness of your Outlook installation.
If you don’t need access to the CLI but use the recovery (of unpurged mail) and filtering features in Aid4Mail Forensic or Aid4Mail Service, then Aid4Mail Investigator is the best match. Filtering capabilities have been significantly improved in version 5. Depending on your source format, you’ll also have access to pre-acquisition native filtering so Aid4Mail only downloads emails matching your search query.
