If you do not have Outlook installed on the machine running Aid4Mail, you will need to use the alternate method for converting email data to a PST file. Simply uncheck the option “Process using Outlook (recommended)” under the Target settings after selecting “PST file” as the target format.
If you are using Outlook (MAPI) and your version of Microsoft Outlook is older than Outlook 2003, this issue may occur because your copy of Outlook is not the default email client. In that case, see if temporarily setting it as the default client fixes the issue and restart Aid4Mail. The instructions on how to change the default email client are below:
In Windows 10, search for “default programs” in the search bar next to the Start Button and select the “Default Programs” desktop application.
Then click on the application under “Email” and select Outlook.
