How can I process a Google Takeout export with Aid4Mail 5?

Google Takeout exports to the MBOX format. These MBOX files are based on the generic mailbox format but use a proprietary format for message status information (unread, deleted, etc.) and the folder hierarchy. Aid4Mail 5 will recover emails status information for each email and it can re-create the folder structure of the Gmail account.

In order to process a Google Takeout export, simply select “Google Takeout” as the source format under “Source”, then select the mail folder or file from the Google Takeout export (after unzipping the file) under “Location”.
