Aid4Mail’s filtering capabilities are extremely powerful and flexible. Being able to filter for emails that are strictly sent or received between two individuals can be accomplish in Aid4Mail without needing a regular expression. Aid4Mail’s search syntax provides you with the ability to accomplish this search criteria using Boolean operators and wildcards.
Here is the search query you would use in Aid4Mail to only process emails that are strictly sent or received between two individuals with no other parties (email addresses) addressed.
From:{joe@aid4mail.com|jane@aid4mail.com} AND To:{joe@aid4mail.com|jane@aid4mail.com} AND NOT (Cc:*@* OR Bcc:*@* OR To:*@**@*)
Here is how it would look in Aid4Mail:
From:{joe@aid4mail.com|jane@aid4mail.com} =This tells Aid4Mail to first check if either of the two following email addresses are in the From: header field.
To:{joe@aid4mail.com|jane@aid4mail.com} =This tells Aid4Mail to check if either of the two following email addresses are in the To: header field.
AND NOT (Cc:*@* OR Bcc:*@* OR To:*@**@*) =This tells Aid4Mail to skip any emails with an email address in the CC or Bcc header fields or if there are two email addresses in the To: header field.
